Welcome to Lemington Riverside

Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…

We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.

Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

What’s Happening...

'Stay and Play' takes place today (Tuesday 3 February) between 9:15-10am in the Main Hall here at Lemington Riverside for 0-3 year olds and their grown ups.

We’re excited to share that the Lemington Riverside Shop will be reopening soon following a fun re-brand — and it’s better than ever!
The shop will be stocked with a brand new range of exciting items, all carefully chosen for children to spend their Lemington Pounds on. This is a fantastic way to celebrate positive behaviour, encourage responsibility, celebrate great attendance & punctuality and help children make choices in a fun and meaningful way.
From small toys and stationery to fun surprises, there will be lots of prizes for children to choose from when they visit the shop 🌈
📅 More details about the re-opening date will be shared very soon. In the meantime, keep earning those Lemington Pounds and keep them safe, ready to spend!
